Gatineau Grand Prix 2026

Meet Rationale: This is the first level of Qualification meet that our swimmers are aiming to achieve. The Heats & Finals format for 13 & Overs gives good preparation for Championship meets (such as Regionals & Provincial level). This is a great pool and the sessions move fast as both ends of the 50m are used for racing.

🏊 Swimmers: For Qualified 11 & above Performance Stream Swimmers and only - swimmers need to qualify in two events. You can view the time standard for this meet here (you need to login to our River Otters website to view this page). The website should tell you if your swimmer has any qualifying times.

🎖️Coach Dan will update families at each upcoming meet if their swimmer has achieved a qualifying time.

📅 Friday 4th - Saturday 5th - Sunday 6th December

📅 11 - 12 yr swimmers - Each day: Arrive @ 12pm - Approximate finish @ 4:30 pm

📅 13 & Over swimmers - Each day: Heats - Arrive @ 7am - Approximate finish @ 12:00 pm

  Finals - Arrive @ 5:30 pm - Approximate finish @ 8:00 pm

💲Meet fees: $140.42 per swimmer + $5.75 per relay > One fixed fee for the entire meet, same fee applies if you can only attend one or two days.

💲Coach Travel fee estimate: Based on minimum 20 swimmers attending = $40 per swimmer. Meet fees + Coach Travel will be charged to your account the day after the meet.

Swimmers will be entered into 2 events per day + relays (depending on group & ability).

Swimmers need to swim in their Qualifying events to prove their eligibility to attend the whole meet. Contact Coach Dan if you cannot attend all three days

Please confirm your swimmer(s) attendance by Monday 16th November.
